Paper tags can only be hung externally, cannot be sewn or washed, mostly used for clothing hang tags, certificate card tags, cannot be used as inner washing labels.
I. Common paper materials & features, applications
White card (grey-back white card / single-side white card)
Features: good stiffness, high flatness, suitable for color printing, hot stamping, UV, die-cutting; best cost performance.
Applications: most ready-made garment and footwear conventional hang tags.
Kraft paper (natural kraft)
Features: matte retro texture, strong water absorption, color printing appears lighter; strong eco-friendly feel.
Applications: workwear, casual, forest-style clothing.
Specialty paper (Conqueror, touch paper, starlight paper, black card, etc.)
Features: inherent texture / velvet feel, high-end hand feel; some have poor water resistance, expensive. Black card suitable for gold/silver hot stamping.
Applications: light luxury, high-end women's wear, designer brands.
Grammage (mainstream): 250g, 300g, 350g, 400g; clothing hang tags most commonly 300–350g;
Reference thickness: 300g white card ≈0.38mm; 350g ≈0.45mm;
Conventional sizes: 50×80mm, 60×90mm, 70×100mm; custom die-cut shapes supported;
Hang hole: standard hole diameter Φ3mm, paired with wax rope, cotton rope, plastic staple;
Limitations: unlaminated paper wrinkles and damages when wet; paper hang tags cannot be washed.
